Today's Top Ten - not necessarily in this order, I know! So, here you are - some I knew and liked and some I've just searched for and have come up.
OK, not to laugh your head off, but do give them a go! By the bye, what do you say in Spanish? Something like, "No será para trancharse? Mandarse? Cortarse?" Oh, yes, Me corta, me manda y me trancha. Or is it? Mm. How difficult Spanish can be!

ResponderEliminarBirds (erm, and baboons) of a feather crop together!
ResponderEliminarThe English language has some wonderfully anthropomorphic collective nouns for the various groups of animals. We are all familiar with a Herd of cows, a Flock of chickens, a School of fish and a Gaggle of geese. However, less widely known is a Pride of lions, an Exaltation of doves and, presumably because they look so wise, a Parliament of owls. Now consider a group of Baboons. They are the loudest, most dangerous, most obnoxious, most viciously aggressive and least intelligent of all primates. And what is the proper collective noun for a group of baboons?
Believe it or not ......... a Congress!
I would like to buy a hamburguer :-)
ResponderEliminaralso 'ken lee' it's funnier, i'll never get tired of watching it!.
Should Math Be Taught In Schools? Really? LOL :)
ResponderEliminarOh, Carmen - I've deleted your comment? SO SORRY!I don't understand. And now my own comment hasn't come out! I just wanted to say I like your comment: a congress of baboons! Really becoming, suitable, appropriate ...
ResponderEliminarThanks, Manuel and don't worry. I deleted my comment with a grammar link because I thought it was too much exhaustive for your students.
ResponderEliminarFrom time to time I have problems when I'm trying to write comments in my own blogs too. I don't know the reasons but sometimes it happens with Blogger.
Best wishes,
Carmen
'I would like to buy a hamburguer!' :-) (This video is fantastic).
ResponderEliminarI like too:
-'Americas Got Talent' (The child Connie Tabot is very lovable).
-'Ken Lee' (I like it, but I feel embarrased for her).
I'd like to share with you this video. Take your time, It isn't a short video. May be it isn't an objective video, but I think it can have a double function: as English listening, and personal listening.
